Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs2,800 per tola

March 13, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs309,300 per tola, up Rs2,800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs265,174 after a gain of Rs2,400, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs243,085 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,440 per tola and Rs2,949 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,946 an ounce, up $8.3 or 0.28% from the previous session.

Gold prices edged up on Thursday as uncertainty over tariffs persisted, driving safe-haven demand, while a cooler-than-expected U.S. inflation print also supported the bullion by strengthening expectations of rate cuts.
