Gold price in Pakistan remain unchanged

December 04, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan remained unchanged on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs275,200 per tola, unchanged from the previous session.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs235,940 unchanged from the previous session, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted at Rs216,278 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,400 per tola and Rs2,915 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,641 an ounce, down $1.6 or 0.06% from the previous session, as a slight recovery in the U.S. dollar outweighed safe-haven demand while markets await U.S. jobs data and comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell for clues on the US central bank's policy outlook.
