Gold price in Pakistan loses Rs3,600 per tola

June 08, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Saturday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs239,400 per tola, down Rs3,600 per tola.

The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs205,247 per tola per 10-gram, down Rs-3,086 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted lower at Rs188,143 per 10-gram.

Moreover, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs2,750 per tola (-Rs50) and Rs2,358 per 10-gram (-Rs43).

On the global front, spot gold closed the week at $2,293 an ounce, a fall of 1.4% on a weekly basis.
