Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs3,600 per tola

May 27, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs347,900 per tola, down Rs3,600.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs298,268 after a decline of Rs3,086, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs273,422 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,448 per tola (-Rs60) and Rs2,956 per 10-gram (-Rs51).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,293 an ounce, down $52.7 or 1.58% from the previous session.

Gold prices declined more than 1% on Tuesday as the dollar's reversal to trade higher added to the pressure on the safe-haven asset following U.S. President Donald Trump's less aggressive trade stance towards the European Union.
