Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs2,700 per tola

January 28, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs286,400 per tola, down Rs2,700.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs245,541 after a decline of Rs2,315, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs225,087 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,363 per tola (-Rs32) and Rs2,882 per 10-gram (-Rs28).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,763 an ounce, up $20.9 or 0.76% from the previous session.

Gold prices rebounded on Tuesday from a dip in the previous session triggered by tech-led wider market sell-off, as increasing uncertainties over U.S. President Donald Trump's proposed tariffs kept investor interest in the safe-haven asset.
