Gold nosedives by Rs900 to stand at Rs110,200

June 10, 2021 (MLN): The price of gold witnessed a sharp decline today in the domestic bullion market, as single tola of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs900 to close at Rs110,200 per tola against the price of Rs111,100 per tola reported in the previous session.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also dipped by Rs770 and was sold for Rs94,480 at the closing of trade as opposed to Rs95,250 reported yesterday.

However, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,460 per tola. The price of 10 grams of silver also stood the same at Rs1,251.71.

In the international market, gold prices went down by $16 and traded at $1,875per ounce against $1,891 per ounce recorded yesterday while silver was valued at $27.70 an ounce.
