Gold jumps as Goldman reiterates $3,000 target for 2025

November 19, 2024 (MLN): Gold surged by the most since August as Goldman Sachs Group Inc. reiterated a forecast for prices to reach $3,000 an ounce next year.

The precious metal extended gains to $2,621 an ounce after jumping almost 2% yesterday, with Goldman Sachs analysts advising investors to “go for gold.”

The rebound comes after the bullion fell by as much as 9% after Donald Trump’s US presidential election victory, which spurred a dollar rally.
