Gold inches up by Rs150 to Rs125,450 per tola

December 21, 2021 (MLN): Gold rates on Tuesday witnessed an increase in the domestic bullion markets as the price of 24 karat per tola gold inched up by Rs150 and was sold at Rs125,450 against its previous close of Rs125,300 on Monday, as per data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association.

The price of 10-gram 24 karat gold also jumped by Rs129 to Rs107,553 from Rs107,424 while the 10-gm 22 karat gold was valued at Rs98,590.

On the other hand, the price of 24 karat per tola and 10-gram 24 karat silver remained unchanged at Rs1,460 and Rs1,251.71 respectively.

In the international market, the yellow metal stayed flat and traded at $1,797 an ounce in the absence of fresh catalysts while silver was pegged at $222.80 per ounce, the association added.
