Gold hits record high in Pakistan at Rs303,100 per tola

February 11, 2025 (MLN): Gold prices in Pakistan surged to an all-time high on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold reaching Rs303,100 per tola after a Rs100 increase.
Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs259,859 after a gain of Rs86, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs238,212 per 10-gram.
On the other hand, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,312 per tola (-Rs61) and Rs2,839 per 10-gram (-Rs52).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,905 an ounce, down $12.9 or 0.44% from the previous session.
Gold's surge to a fresh record high is being fuelled by fears of an escalating global trade war instigated by U.S. President Donald Trump.
