Big Bird Foods goes solar

December 30, 2025 (MLN): Big Bird Foods Limited (PSX: BBFL) has installed a 3-megawatt (MW) solar power system at its production facility, which is now fully operational and has commenced electricity generation.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company said that the solar installation reflects its strong commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, with a particular focus on adopting environmentally friendly alternative energy sources.

According to Big Bird Foods, the 3MW solar system is expected to result in significant annual energy cost savings, improve operational efficiency, and support the company’s long-term sustainability objectives.
