Former FPCCI President underlines need of preparation of 25 years long development roadmap

APP – Former President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Mian Muhammad Idrees has underlined the need of preparation of 25 years long development roadmap in order to make Pakistan progress and prosperous in comity of nations.

Mian Muhammad Idrees, the Chief Executive of sitara Chemical Industries who came here to attend reception hosted by the District Governor Lion Clubs South 305 here at a local hotel, expressed these remarks in a brief chat with a select gathering of media men on Tuesday.

He said the present political instability was affecting the country’s economy.

The stakeholders including the institutions and political leaderships should develop consensus for development of country’s economy as they did for countering terrorism in the past, he said adding that 25 years long development roadmap if developed should be continued without any impediment and till achievements of required tasks.

He also emphasized the need of foiling the conspiracies of all those international forces who do not want stability in Pakistan.

Commenting on CPEC, he said that the world has now realized the importance of the strategic location of Pakistan therefore eyes have been set to achieve maximum advantages and benefits of this ideal location.

He said that CPEC have many positive aspect for achieving maximum benefits for the progress and prosperity of the country.

He said that all stakeholders including business community of the country should be taken into confidence on CPEC on Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with China.

Earlier, addressing the reception, Mian Muhammad Idrees who has been elected as International Director of the Lions Club has called upon the philanthropists to serve the humanity by pooling their due share in the charity.

He said the people of Pakistan are being acknowledged by large in the world because of their huge contribution in the charity services and there is the need to continue these efforts in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

He spoke at length on the services of the Lions Club adding that the issues of poor people can be addressed by promoting and contributing donations for them by organizing various events. He also praised the services of the Lions Club of Hyderabad affiliated with South 305 adding that Hyderabad is known as the leading contributor in the charity services in Pakistan, adding that the services of Hyderabad would be fully acknowledged in the convention of the Lions Clubs to be held in Faisalabad on April 22.

The ceremony was also addressed by former International director Lions Club International Malik Khuda Bux, Muhammad Azhar Choudhry, District Governor South 305 Muhammad Aslam Khan and Senior Vice President Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Turab Ali Khoja.

Among others, the Vice President HCCI Ziauddin, Shan Saigal, Yawar Ali Shah, Abdul Sattar Khan, Shahid Ghouri, Mehmood Jaferi Advocate, Muhammad Waseem Jee and Zulfiqar Chohan.
