Former Chairman SECP’s application for disposal of FIR dismissed by Special Judge – Next Hearing on Nov 29

The special Judge dismissed the application of the former chairman SECP Zafar Hijazi for the disposal of FIR.

Former chairman Secp zafar hijazi's application under section 249-a for summary disposal of FIR was fixed before the special court today.

The former chairman has been charged with forgery, corruption and misuse of power in the special court Islamabad. Zafar hijazi had alleged that there was no evidence against him and he was a part of a conspiracy. He futher stated that he had recieved a bail on these grounds.

The special judge Irum Niazi dismissed this application and stated that there is sufficient evidence to proceed. The Court therefore adjourned the matter to 29th November for presentation of further evidence.
