FFC initiates PAI to acquire over 151m shares of Agritech Limited

October 23, 2024 (MLN): Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (PSX: FFC) has initiated a Public Offer to acquire 151.05 million ordinary shares of Agritech Limited, the company's filing on PSX revealed.

This offer is made under the Securities Act, 2015, and the Listed Companies (Substantial Acquisition of Voting Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2017.

The announcement, made by Integrated Equities Limited, the Manager to Offer, references a Public Announcement of Intention to acquire shares and control of Agritech Limited, which was initially published on 12 September 2024 in Nawa-e-Waqt and The Nation.

As part of the process, FFC has submitted the Public Announcement of Offer following Regulation 7(2) of the aforementioned regulations. Additionally, supplementary documents and information required under Regulation 7(5) will be submitted separately to the Commission.

To ensure transparency and accessibility of information to shareholders and the public, FFC has also confirmed that a copy of the Public Offer announcement will be published in Nawa-e-Waqt and The Nation on October 25, 2024.
