Fertilizer offtake inches up 0.2 percent in December

January 23, 2019 (MLN): Total nutrient offtake during December 2018 was about 480 thousand tonnes which increased by 0.2 percent against December 2017.

As per the data provided by National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC), out of these 480 thousand tonnes sold, the largest share of sales were made for nitrogen (381 thousand tonnes) while the least amount of sales were made for potash (4000 tonnes).

Nitrogen offtake decreased by 3.6 percent and phosphate Offtake increased by 16.4 percent. Meanwhile, potash offtake increased by 49.1 per cent over December 2017.
