Federal govt releases over Rs319bn for various uplift projects under PSDP

January 14, 2020: The Federal Government has released 319.56 billion rupees for various ongoing and new social sector uplift projects under the current year's Public Sector Development Programme.

According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform, the released funds include more than 207 billion rupees for federal ministries, 87 billion rupees for corporations, over 25 billion rupees for special areas, 750 million rupees for the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority.

Similarly, 55.2 billion rupees have been released for National Highway Authority, 14 billion rupees for Higher Education Commission, more than 11 billion rupees for Railways, and over seven billion rupees for National Health Services.
