FATIMA's board approves demerger plan with Pakarab Fertilizers

December 10, 2024 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited (PSX: FATIMA) has approved the Scheme of Compromises, Arrangement, and Reconstruction with Pakarab Fertilizers Limited, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

Under the Scheme, FATIMA will transfer its Multan plant operations to Pakarab Fertilizers Limited, per the terms and conditions outlined in the Scheme.

The proposed demerger remains subject to obtaining all requisite corporate, regulatory, and other necessary approvals, consents, and authorizations.

The management of the company will keep stakeholders updated on the progress of this matter.
