Exxon Mobil returns to Pakistan after three decades

November 28, 2018 (MLN): Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed the return of Exxon Mobil to Pakistan after a gap of nearly three decades, a press release said on Wednesday.

He was talking to a delegation of Exxon Mobil headed by chairwoman ExxonMobil LNG Market Development Emma Cochrane who called on him at the PM Office, PM Office media wing said.

In his tweet, Finance Minister Asad Umar expressed joy by stating that “it was an excellent day from a foreign investment perspective as world’s biggest energy company, Exxon mobile, re-opened there office in Pakistan 27 years after leaving the country.”
