EPCL enters into supplemental agreement with SSGC for gas supply

August 01, 2023 (MLN): The management of Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited (PSX: EPCL) has announced that the company has entered into Supplemental Agreement with Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (PSX: SSGC) for the supply of gas from August 01 to September 30, 2023, the company’s filing on PSX revealed today.

EPCL requires the gas supply for its captive power generation plant located at Port Qasim Industrial Zone on Plot No. EZ/1P-II-I, Karachi on an “as and when” available basis.

“Upon mutual agreement of EPCL & SSGC, the Term of the SA may be extended,” the notice reads.

Moreover, this will ensure that the operations of EPCL are not hindered.
