ECP lifts ban on recruitments and development projects

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has lifted its ban on all types of recruitments, postings and transfers, and development projects in the country with immediate effect.

According to a notification issued on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, the commission said that its notification in connection with the freezing of the funds of the local government institutions has also been withdrawn.

The Election Commission of Pakistan had earlier imposed a ban on recruitments and development schemes on April 11 in view of the general elections held on 25th of July 2018.
