ECC to discuss progress report on Public Sector’s Wheat Procurement Drive 2019-20

June 09, 2020 (MLN): Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) will discuss progress report on Public Sector’s Wheat Procurement Drive 2019-20.

The meeting is scheduled to take place tomorrow, i.e.  June 10, 2020, at Cabinet Division.

The Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue will chair the meeting wherein the following important agenda points will be discussed:

• Request for additional funds of Rs 3,820 million to meet the shortfall in Annual Budget of Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the FY 2019-20.

• Request for Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) of Rs 18.33 million to meet Obligatory Expenditure under demand no 94 in respect of Privatization Commission during FY2019-20.

• 2020 Projections- Urea Fertilizer

• Revision in the key terms of Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme

• USD 10.9 million capital increase in Bangladesh operations of National Bank of Pakistan to meet minimum capital requirement prescribed by the Central Bank of Bangladesh for the year 2019 and to create some cushion in equity for 2020

• Allocation of funds for meeting the Legitimate expenditures

• Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) amounting to Rs 168,151,919 under demand no 073.  Other expenditure of interior division for payment of troop cost/subsistence allowance to Personnel of CAFs deployed in UN peacekeeping missions

• Approval of TSG of Rs 7,248.050 million in favour of Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI)

• Risk allowance equal to One Pay shall be paid to all Healthcare workers performing duties related to COVID-19 in the federal government
