ECC to discuss exchange losses incurred by PSO

January 8, 2020 (MLN): A meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet is scheduled today in the Cabinet Division wherein the following main agendas will be discussed.

The advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance and revenue will chair the meeting.

• Approval of technical supplementary grant of Rs.1 billion for Pakistan Tourism Development Endowment Fund FY2019-20.

• Extension of Government of Pakistan guarantee against credit facility of National Bank of Pakistan amounting to Rs.5000 million in favor of Utility Stores Corporation

• Release of funds for payment of outstanding gas field to SSGCL

• Constitution of Price Negotiation Committee for Turkmenistan –Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project

• Exchange losses incurred by PSO on FE-25 Loans booked on the instructions of Ministry of Finance

• Settlement of the financial facility amounting Rs.38.12 billion raised by Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) from Habib Bank Limited (HBL) for the settlement of Net Hydel Profit (NHP)
