ECC to discuss establishment of trust fund under 3rd tranche of $10 mln for PMRCL

January 29, 2020 (MLN): A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet is scheduled to take place today, i.e. January 29, 2020, at Cabinet Division, wherein the following important agenda points will be discussed:

• Establishment of Trust Fund to implement risk-sharing facility under 3^rd Tranche of US$ 10 million of credit line if US$140 million obtained from World Bank for Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company Limited (PMRCL)

• Issuance of Direction of Federal Gov’t to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to sell its shares in House Building Finance Company Limited (HBFCL)

• Demand of Rs 80 million as technical supplementary grant in the budget of finance division for the financial year 2019-20

• Technical supplementary grant amounting to Rs 100 million for centralized Procurement of ICT infrastructure to ensure E-readiness of Fed Gov’t for implementation of E- Gov’t Program
