ECC approves Rs 200 increase in support price for wheat

October 26, 2020 (MLN): A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) was held in Islamabad on Monday with Adviser on Finance Hafeez Sheikh in the chair.

The meeting approved Rs 200 increase in support price for wheat.

According to the sources, the minimum wheat support price has been fixed at Rs 1600 per forty kilograms.

Earlier, the minimum support price of wheat for this year had been fixed at Rs1400 per forty kilograms.
