ECC approves fixation of MPRs for 25 new drugs

July 25, 2023 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Monday after a detailed discussion approved the fixation of Maximum Retail Prices (MPRs) of Twenty-Five (25) new drugs, said a press release issued on the same day.

The Ministry of National Health Services tabled the summary regarding the fixation of Maximum Retail Prices of 26 new drugs.

The ECC also approved the following Technical Supplementary Grants (TSG):

Rs47.15 billion in favor of Ministry of Housing and Works for the execution of development schemes under the SDGs Achievement Program (SAP) in Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, and KPK provinces

Rs10bn in favor of PM’s Youth Business & Agriculture Loan Scheme (PMYB&ALS) surrendered for small loans from PM’s Youth Program.

Rs2.72 million in favor of the Power Division for the execution of development schemes of Punjab, Sindh, KPK and Baluchistan provinces under the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Program (SAP).

Rs1.016bn in favor of the Petroleum Division for the execution of gas schemes in Punjab province under SAP.

The meeting of ECC was presided by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
