Dawood Lawrencepur's subsidiary becomes a part of MoU signed b/w IPPs and GoP

August 18, 2020 (MLN): A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Pakistan Wind Energy Association and the Committee for Negotiations with Independent Power Producers constituted by the Federal government.

In a notice directed towards Pakistan Stock Exchange, Dawood Lawrencepur Company has informed that its subsidiary, Tenaga Generasi Limited, is a member of the Association.

The terms of the MoU are subject to the approval of the Federal Cabinet, NEPRA, and Board of Directors of each consenting member of the Association, their shareholders and lenders, and other necessary approvals leading to the execution of agreements between the parties.
