June 29, 2026 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan will roll out its redesigned official website on 1st July, accessible to all stakeholders, offering a faster and more user-friendly digital experience for citizens, businesses, financial institutions, researchers and journalists.

The revamped platform has been built as a modern, secure and inclusive digital interface aimed at improving access to SBP information, marking a key step in the central bank's digital transformation drive and its continued focus on transparency and stakeholder engagement.

The website was developed following extensive research and stakeholder consultations, featuring an intuitive interface with simplified navigation that allows users to locate information more efficiently, according to a press release issued.

Enhanced search and filtering tools will make it easier to access data, circulars, regulations, publications and press releases, while the platform will be fully responsive across desktops, smartphones and other devices.

To widen public outreach, the website offers a bilingual interface in English and Urdu and has been designed in line with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), incorporating features for persons with disabilities.

The platform's reorganized information architecture presents key segments including monetary policy, financial markets data and banking regulations in a more logical structure, while retaining access to legacy content.

SBP said the new website would strengthen its communication with the public and support its broader vision of delivering efficient, transparent and citizen-centric services through technology, while helping improve financial literacy, inclusion and informed engagement with the financial system.

The central bank added that the previous version of the website would remain accessible through a dedicated homepage link until July 15, to facilitate stakeholders who wish to reference the earlier interface.
