Committee constituted to address issue of electricity bills

The Government of Sindh, has constituted a Committee to address the issues pertaining to the payment of monthly electricity bills of various departments/entities of Government of Sindh with Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Sindh as its Chairman, while Secretary Energy Department, Government of Sindh, Secretary Local Government & HTP Department, Government of Sindh, Consultant (EM&RC) Energy Department, Government of Sindh will be its members and Additional Secretary (Power), Energy Department, Government of Sindh be its Member/Secretary.

The terms of reference of the committee are to coordinate with the K-electric management to resolve the issue of outstanding electricity bills pertaining to Government of Sindh departments and subordinate offices including local government institutions; to submit the report to the Government for payment of reconciled/agreed amount and to evolve a mechanism for monthly payment of electricity bills.
