July 02, 2026 (MLN): Six Pakistani companies participated in the 2026 Hunan Integrated Development of Domestic and Foreign Trade Expo in Zhuzhou, China, showcasing a range of traditional handicrafts while Pakistani diplomats used the platform to strengthen trade ties and promote cooperation in the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors.

Held from June 26 to 28 under the theme "New Consumption, New Intelligent Manufacturing, and New Integration," the exhibition brought together nearly 600 companies and more than 2,000 business representatives from 15 countries and regions.

Exhibits spanned multiple industries, including rail transit, engineering machinery, electronics, light manufacturing, specialty agricultural products, and imported goods, according to APP.

Pakistan's participation was led by Sardar Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Guangzhou, and Muhammad Imran, Trade and Investment Counsellor at the Consulate General.

The officials attended the opening ceremony, interacted with exhibitors, visited the Pakistani stalls, and explored opportunities to expand commercial and industrial collaboration with Chinese businesses.

On the sidelines of the expo, the Pakistani delegation visited Qianjin Group, where discussions focused on expanding cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

The talks built on the group's existing engagement with Pakistan following the successful clinical trial of its Gynecological Qianjin Capsule, a product aimed at addressing demand for TCM-based gynecological treatments in the Pakistani market.

The delegation also toured the manufacturing facilities of Hunan Reborn Medical Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., reviewing the company's production processes and quality assurance systems.

Officials noted the firm's advanced manufacturing capabilities and highlighted that Pakistan is among its major export destinations in Asia.

To further enhance bilateral collaboration, the Pakistani delegation invited both Qianjin Group and Hunan Reborn to attend the B2B Investment Conference on Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, scheduled to take place in Karachi on July 17-18, with the aim of fostering new partnerships and investment opportunities in Pakistan's healthcare industry, according to CEN.
