Chairman FBR thanks PBA on mutual consultation to dispose of pending litigation

December 5, 2019 (MLN): The Chairman of FBR, Syed Shabbar Zaidi said FBR will reciprocate confidence and cooperation extended by Pakistan Bank’s Association and the management.

In a recent tweet, he thanked the Banking Association for complete cooperation in disposing of long outstanding pending litigation on the matter of furnishing of certain information of account holders to the FBR.

Banks have now agreed to allow filing of information of all account holders who withdraw Rs 50,000 and above in a day or Rs1 million in a month or deposit Rs10 million and Rs250, 000 in a month against credit/debit card.
