Byco Petroleum puts its plant on cold circulation due to nil offtake from refineries

March 30, 2020 (MLN): Byco Petroleum Limited has decided to put its plant on cold circulation from March 27, 2020, owing to the nearly nil offtake from its refineries coupled with the Provincial Government decision for lockdown.

The company has informed that this shall go on till the normalization of the demand and supply situation, to avoid unnecessary HSD and Fuel Oil ullage challenges and to create further room for locally produced crude and condensate to be accommodated and processed.

Meanwhile, the Company has again requested the Ministry of Energy to ensure OMCs uplift their committed volumes and place their demand for April 2020, so that it can finalize its production plan accordingly.
