Bank Alfalah completes divestment of shares in Alfalah Securities

May 02, 2025 (MLN): Bank Alfalah Limited (PSX: BAFL) has successfully completed the divestiture of its entire shareholding in its subsidiary, Alfalah Securities (Private) Limited, comprising 324.9 million shares (i.e. 95.59% of the issued and paid-up share capital), to Optimus Capital Management (Private) Limited, as of 30th April 2025.

This follows the approval of the shareholders of Bank Alfalah Limited in the 33rd Annual General Meeting held on 20th March 2025, as communicated in the Bank’s letter dated 21st March 2025.

The transaction has been completed in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

Accordingly, the Bank no longer holds any interest in Alfalah Securities, and it has ceased to be a subsidiary or associated undertaking of the Bank.
