November 27, 2019 (MLN): Avanceon Limited (AVN) via notification informed that Avanceon Automation and Control WLL has been awarded a contract for the provision of high-end Power Management System (PMS) for a women’s healthcare facility in Qatar.

For this project, Avanceon is going to collaborate with world’s leading industrial software solution providing firm to design and develop a robust, secure, cost-effective and highly functional PMS as per customer’s needs and requirements.

The uninterrupted power supply is of paramount importance for any healthcare facility in the world. It is crucial for ensuring a safe and healthy facility/ hospital environment. Unplanned outages threaten patient safety, put a dent on the hospital’s reputation, and can burden its operational/running cost with unwarranted expenditures.

Avanceon’s provided PMS will help in reducing the number and duration of unplanned outages, cutting down energy consumption, improving equipment maintenance, optimizing key equipment’s loading and reducing liability with reporting and tracking.

Project’s detailed scope of work includes:

  1. Design, engineering, supply, installation, configuration, testing & commissioning of SCADA and PLC based Power Management System (PMS).
  2. Supply and programming of the integrated design for both hardware and software components.
  3. Development of Human Machine Interface (HMI), graphics, dashboards, trends, database etc. as per functional design specifications.
  4. Operational and maintenance Training.

Once commissioned, PMS will help in improving patients’ safety and financial performance. It will ensure optimum operation of power distribution network, minimize power disruptions, boost efficiency and reliability, improve regulatory compliance and reduce liability.

Avanceon’s long term service history, strong project references, and a technically sound solution played a major role in acquiring this project.
