Atlas Honda gears up to launch new 125cc bike on January 4

January 2, 2019 (MLN): Atlas Honda will launch its latest model of 125cc motorcycle on January 4 2019, in order to gain from the mounting demand for motorcycles with 100cc to 150cc engine capacity, disclosed an envoy.

Deriving encouragement from the positive response to these bikes in China, Atlas Honda intends to introduce the model in Pakistan. In May 2018, the company had publicly disclosed its plans to expand capacity up to 1.5 million units.

Currently, motorcycles possessing similar engine capacity cost over Rs.150, 000. According to the envoy, Atlas Honda will launch the bike for sale within a price range of Rs.140, 000 to Rs.145, 000, sufficient to gain an upper hand in the market.

Atlas Honda is currently in the lead in motorcycle sector in Pakistani markets. During the last fiscal year, the company sold over 1 million bikes. The company already has a 125cc bike running in the market, which is very popular among the youth of the country.
