Ahsan Raza Durrani to be the new CEO of Summit Bank

Summit Bank, in an announcement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, informed that the Bank’s current President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Muhammad Zahir Esmail will be retiring from his office.

The retirement is on account of attaining the age of 70 years, and will take place on August 07, 2018, subject to the necessary regulatory approval.

Mr. Ahsan Raza Durrani will be taking his place as the Acting President and Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of the Summit Bank.

Mr. Durrani has been serving as the Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP), Group Head of the Credit Department, at the Summit Bank since August 2017, prior to which he served as the Group Head of Corporate, Investments and Financial Institutions for a five and half years at the Bank.

He was also elected at a Director in the Board of Agritech Limited in July 2015.

Among other notable experiences, he has held the postion of the CEO of Faysal Asset Mangement Limited from September 2003 to April 2006, a period of 2 years and 8 months.

He holds extensive experience in investments, corporate and commercial banking that extends to over 20 years in the industry.
