Agriculture loans being provided for Rabi & Kharif crops in Punjab

December 28, 2020 (MLN): Under Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar's direction, agriculture loans are being provided to farmers for Rabi and Kharif crops of the fiscal year 2020-21.

According to a spokesman of the Agriculture Department, loans worth thirty thousand rupees per acre are being provided for Rabi crop while worth fifty thousand per acre loan for Kharif crop.

He said that interest-free loans are being provided to farmers owning up to twelve points five acres while loans are being issued on a priority basis to owners of up to five acres of land.

He said that farmers can contact the National Bank of Pakistan, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd, National Rural Support Program to get this loan.
