Agha Steel's MiDa plant advances with successful energization

November 23, 2023 (MLN): In a positive development, the MiDa plant of Agha Steel Industries Limited (PSX: AGHA) has been successfully energized, marking the beginning of the initial phase of cold commissioning, company’s filing on the local bourse revealed today.

This phase places a specific emphasis on the testing of rotary and electrical components.

“We are thrilled to share this exciting news, as it is deemed crucial, and we intend to communicate it to the public through the PSX, highlighting the positive progress in our endeavors,” the notice reads.

AGHA is principally engaged in the manufacturing and sale of steel bars, wire rods, and billets.

At the time of writing, the company's share is being traded at Rs15.25, up by 34 paisa or 2.28% compared to its previous close.
