After Saudi, UAE and others, offer of cooperation extended to Canada

March 11, 2019 (MLN): Raza Bashir Tarar, High Commissioner of Pakistan has announced his intention on behalf of the High Commission to work with the Canadian Chambers and Trade bodies, to develop partnership with their Pakistani counterparts and explore avenues available for enhancement of trade relations.

A meeting took place between the High Commissioner and Canada Pakistan Affiliated Chamber of Trade (CPACT) in Ottawa, where the two parties discussed strategies to facilitate trade contacts between business platforms of Pakistan and Canada.

He reiterated to the businessmen associated with the chamber that improved security situation and restored macro-economic stability in Pakistan has created a favorable environment for economic growth.

Emphasis was lain on developing synergy between the chambers and trade bodies of the two countries to exploit full potential of the economic opportunities.

Mr. Tariq Mahmood President CPACT, Ottawa briefed the High Commissioner about their plans for business development, for benefit of Pakistani and Canadian companies
