Zarea partners with Chinese Agri-Tech for $2m collaboration

January 21, 2026 (MLN): Zarea Limited (PSX: ZAL) has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wang Chuang Xi Jun Chang Agri Ltd., a leading Chinese agri-platform company, in an initial $ 2 million phase during the Pak–China Investment Conference in Islamabad.
The collaboration targets growth opportunities in Pakistan’s
agriculture sector by leveraging advanced, technology-driven agricultural
solutions, according to the company’s filing
on PSX revealed today.
The partnership will focus on introducing modern seed
technologies, technology-enabled agronomic services, structured labor and
grower management, scalable production systems, and enhancing trade between
Pakistan and China.
Zarea Limited aims to boost agricultural productivity,
supply chain efficiency, and traceability while supporting the modernization of
Pakistan’s agri-value chain.
The collaboration is also expected to facilitate technical know-how transfer, international market exposure, and potential export linkages for local growers and agribusiness stakeholders.
