PSHL acquires 25.42% stake in Asia Insurance

October 09, 2026 (MLN): The acquisition of 18,558,243 ordinary shares, representing 25.42% of the issued share capital of Asia Insurance Company Limited (PSX: ASIC), was completed by Private Stock Holding Limited (PSHL) on October 9, 2026, according to a filing on the PSX.

The shares were held by InsuResilience Investment Fund (IIF), a substantial shareholder in ASIC with a 25.42% holding.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) had earlier approved the acquisition of up to 18,558,243 shares held by IIF by PSHL, as the acquirer.

The approval came on IIF’s application and was subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement between IIF and PSHL, according to ASIC’s May 18, 2026 filing.
