NCCPL to remove three stocks from MTS, retain 64 in quarterly review

October 16, 2026 (MLN): The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has kept 64 securities eligible for the Margin Trading System (MTS) and MT (R) transaction margins from October 30, 2026, while removing three stocks, Citi Pharma Limited (CPHL), Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited (HMB) and Waves Corporation Limited (WAVES), from the system effective Monday, November 16, 2026.

The decision follows the quarterly review of securities eligibility under clauses 7C.3.2.d and 7C.3.2.e of the NCCPL Regulations 2015.

Most eligible securities carry a contract length of 60 days, while Crescent Star Insurance Limited (CSIL) and TPL REIT Fund I (TPLRF1) have 30 days.

Nine securities were retained because of applicable relaxation.

Bunnys Limited (BNL), CSIL, Ghani Chemical Industries Limited (GCIL), Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited (MUGHAL), Soneri Bank Limited (SNBL), The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) and Treet Corporation Limited (TREET) have a relaxation count of 2. Hum Network Limited (HUMNL) and Telecard Limited (TELE) have a count of 1.

CPHL was dropped for not meeting the 22nd percentile benchmark criteria after three consecutive relaxations. WAVES failed the same benchmark after relaxation was applied. HMB did not meet the average turnover and trade value criteria after relaxation.
