Trump says Iran given ‘chance after chance’ to negotiate

June 13, 2025 (MLN): President Donald Trump reaffirmed his stance on Iran through a post on X (formerly Twitter), warning of devastating consequences should Tehran refuse to negotiate.

Trump emphasized that he had given Iran “chance after chance” to reach a deal, urging them repeatedly to “just do it.”

He underscored the strength of the U.S. military, calling it “the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR,” and noted that Israel possesses a significant amount of it, with more to come. “And they know how to use it,” he added.

Trump claimed that certain Iranian hardliners “spoke bravely,” but were unaware of the consequences they were about to face.

“They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse,” he declared, referencing recent military action without specifying the source.

“There has already been great death and destruction,” Trump stated, “but there is still time to make this slaughter come to an end.” He warned that additional planned attacks would be even more brutal unless Iran agrees to make a deal.

The former president urged Iranian leaders to act quickly to “save what was once known as the Iranian Empire,” concluding his post with a final appeal: “No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. God Bless You All.”

While Trump did not specify whether the United States or Israel conducted recent strikes, his message adds further pressure as the region remains on high alert.
