Telenor Asia appoints Fridtjof Rusten as CEO of Telenor Pakistan

August 11, 2025 (MLN): Telenor Asia has appointed Fridtjof Rusten as Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Pakistan, with effect from 1 September 2025.
Rusten, a seasoned executive with deep familiarity with the Pakistani
telecom market returns to lead Telenor Pakistan after previously serving in key
leadership roles within the Telenor Group.
His reappointment reflects Telenor Asia’s strategic focus on leveraging
experienced leadership to drive operational excellence and market growth in the
region.
Demonstrating both a proven track record and a strong commitment to
performance Rusten is set to guide Telenor Pakistan through its upcoming
transformation and innovation journey.
