TOMCL secures landmark export deal with Carrefour UAE

August 07, 2025 (MLN): The Organic Meat Company Limited (PSX: TOMCL) has declared a landmark achievement in its international expansion strategy, becoming the first meat processing and exporting company from Pakistan to qualify for direct exports to Carrefour Majid Al-Futtaim - Hyper Market LLC's operations across the UAE.

This milestone follows TOMCL’s successful completion of Carrefour’s comprehensive Systems, Hygiene, and Operational Excellence Audit, in which the company scored an impressive 94.89%.

The audit evaluated TOMCL’s full compliance with international standards across its operations, the notification issued to the local bourse.

By exceeding Carrefour’s stringent quality requirements, TOMCL has now been approved as a vendor for all Carrefour UAE retail networks.

This positions TOMCL as a trusted halal meat supplier across major Middle Eastern retail markets and significantly enhances its regional footprint.

The development is expected to drive higher export volumes, enable the launch of premium product lines in high-value retail channels, strengthen brand recognition in international retail and foodservice sectors, and deepen market penetration across the UAE.

TOMCL management stated that this accomplishment reflects the company’s firm commitment to international quality, traceability, and food safety standards.
