August 4, 2025 (MLN): The Organic Meat Company Limited (PSX: TOMCL) has entered Tajikistan’s halal meat market, securing frozen boneless beef export orders worth $3.24 million.

Production has already started in line with Tajikistan’s import requirements, and shipments will be completed within the current financial year.

In an official disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, TOMCL shared that it has successfully commenced production and shipments tailored to meet Tajikistan’s import specifications and regulatory framework.

This development marked the company’s strategic entry into a new and largely untapped halal meat market, further strengthening its position as a leading exporter of Pakistani frozen beef.

The export agreement is expected to be fulfilled over the current financial year and builds on TOMCL’s earlier presence in other CIS nations, namely Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The company cited increasing demand for Pakistani halal meat across Eurasian markets as a strong motivating factor behind this move.

The management highlighted that the deal reflects growing customer trust in TOMCL’s processing quality, consistency, and logistics performance.

With this expansion, TOMCL is diversifying its export portfolio beyond traditional regions such as the GCC, ASEAN, and MENA, in alignment with Pakistan’s broader export diversification agenda.

TOMCL emphasized its commitment to generating positive foreign exchange inflows, reinforcing the country’s footprint in non-traditional export destinations, and unlocking new revenue streams.

It also reiterated its strategic plan to grow exports throughout the CIS bloc, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe, citing its international certifications, advanced meat processing infrastructure, and strong livestock sourcing networks as key enablers of growth.

The company encouraged stakeholders to view this achievement as part of a national effort to promote Pakistan’s halal meat industry and concluded with a patriotic call: “Together, let's make Pakistan proud.”
