TGL secures land for new value-added glass plant

May 21, 2026 (MLN): Tariq Glass Industries Limited (PSX: TGL) has received approval from the Authority of Quaid-e-Azam Business Park - Special Economic Zone (QABP-SEZ), Sheikhupura, for entry of the Company as a Zone Enterprise.

In this regard, the Authority has allocated approximately 10.41 acres of land to the Company for the establishment of a proposed manufacturing facility relating to value-added glass and allied products, according to the company's statement issued today.

The proposed project forms part of the Company's strategic expansion and diversification plans aimed at enhancing its manufacturing capabilities and strengthening its presence in the value-added glass segment.

The Company shall now proceed with completion of the requisite regulatory, administrative and operational formalities for the erection, development and commissioning of the proposed plant.
