SLCL settles some creditor dues, expects sizeable debtor recovery in coming days

September 28, 2026 (MLN): Security Leasing Corporation Ltd (PSX:SLCL)  has settled some of its outstanding dues with creditors, is at the final stage of talks with several others, and expects a sizeable recovery from one of its debtors in the coming days, while a Sindh High Court order continues to shield it from winding up and delisting proceedings.

In a reply to the PSX letter dated September 16, 2026 (Ref. No. PSX/Gen 1101), the company gave an update on its present position and the steps it is taking to resolve pending matters.

 It said discussions with the remaining creditors are continuing, and that the expected recovery would help it meet its financial obligations and advance its revival efforts.

On the legal front, the company said it had challenged before the Sindh High Court the SECP Appellate Bench order of April 8, 2025, relating to the cancellation of its licence.

The court, through its order of September 24, 2025 in Misc. Appeal No. 123 of 2025, restrained the respondents from taking any adverse or coercive action against the company, including winding up and delisting proceedings.

Since the PSX is a party to the proceedings, SLCL requested the exchange to keep the court order on record and to keep any action under its earlier notice suspended until the court decides the matter.

The company said management is following the remaining settlements and recoveries on a regular basis, and that the outcome would be reflected in its upcoming annual financial statements. It added that it would continue to update the PSX on any material development.
