SBP reserves fall $7.2m to $11.51bn

June 05, 2025 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) decreased by $7.2 million or 0.06% WoW to $11.51 billion during the week ended on May 30, 2025, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves decreased by $39m or 0.23% WoW to $16.6bn.

The reserves held by commercial banks fell by $31.8m or 0.62% WoW to $5.09bn.

In the current fiscal year, SBP-held reserves have increased by $2.12bn or 22.57%.

Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen a decrease of $201.7m or -1.72%.
