SBP raises nearly Rs572bn through PIB auction

June 18, 2025 (MLN): The
State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) conducted an auction on Wednesday in which it sold
Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs) worth Rs571.76 billion.
Cut-off yields stood at 11.39% for 2-year, 11.40% for 3-year,
11.70% for 5-year, 12.49% for 10-year bond and 12.7% for 15-year bond.
The total amount offered was Rs1.217 trillion, out of which the SBP
accepted Rs571.76bn.
The SBP received bids worth Rs276.03bn for 2-year, Rs188bn for 3-year,
Rs375.49bn for 5-year, Rs87.07bn for 10-year, and Rs290.5bn for 15-year, out of
which it accepted Rs63.14bn for 2-year, Rs37.01bn for 3-year, Rs130.43bn for
5-year, Rs38.2bn for 10-year and Rs288bn for 15-year.
