SBP issues Rs75 Commemorative Coin to honor Marka-e-Haq

Aug 15, 2025 (MLN): In a tribute to the bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces during the historic Marka-e-Haq, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued a Rs75 commemorative coin.

The launch coincides with Independence Day, adding symbolic weight to the celebration of national resilience and pride.

Approved by the Federal Government, the coin will be available at SBP Banking Services Corporation field offices starting today.

Crafted from nickel-brass (79% copper, 20% zinc, 1% nickel), the coin weighs 13.5 grams and spans 30 mm in diameter.

Design Details:

• Obverse: Features a waxing crescent moon and five-pointed star in a rising position, flanked by wheat sprigs.

  The inscription “Islami Jamhuria Pakistan” crowns the top, with the year “2025” below. The denomination “75” and the word “Rupia” appear on either side of the crescent. 

  
  

• Reverse: Showcases the words “Marka-e-Haq” and “2025” at the center, encircled by “Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad.”

  Military imagery includes two fighter jets, a naval ship, and a multiple rocket launcher system, symbolizing the tri-services’ role in defending the nation.

  
  

This coin not only commemorates a pivotal moment in Pakistan’s defense history but also reinforces the enduring spirit of patriotism.
