RDA attracts $312m in May 2026

Jun 11, 2026 (MLN):  Total inflows into Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) during May, 2026 stood at $312m, bringing the total cumulative inflows into RDA to $13,059m.

Compared to the previous month's inflow of $321, May showed an decrease of $9m.

However, according to data released by the SBP, amount repatriated and locally utilized during the month was $150m showing that the Net Repatriable Liability of RDA increased by $162m in May.

Amount repatriated during the month was $14m while $136m was utilized locally.

Total cumulative repatriation and local utilization stood at $10,353m out of which $2,070m has been repatriated while locally utilized amount was $8,283m making the Net Repatriable Liability (NRL) $2,706m or 20.72% of Total RDA.

Breakup of the NRL shows $586m was still invested in Conventional Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPC), $1,209m was in Islamic NPC, Equity investment stood at $135m, Balances in Accounts was $700m while Other Liabilities stood at $76m.

Total amount received during the current financial year was $2,496m compared to $2,126m in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Total repatriation and local utilization during the current financial year was $1,780m compared to $1,612m in the corresponding period last year.

During the month of May, 8,682 new accounts were opened taking the total number of accounts to 936,165

The highest monthly inflow into RDA was recorded in April, 2026 during which inflows of $321m were received.

The highest monthly repatriation and local utilization from RDA was recorded in July, 2022 during which NRL of RDA reduced by $330m.
